Hi, I’m Thierry! My love for History was sparked by my Corsican Grandfather, a war Veteran and Knight of the Legion of Honor. As early as elementary school, History was my favorite subject.
My purpose is to share my passion in a way that is entertaining and easy to understand. Having spent 17 years in the US and the UK gives me the hindsight to approach historical events with different perspectives, along with a knowledge drawn from years of attending history talks, courses, tours and reading hundreds of books.
My favorite period is the late 1700’s: the French Revolution, Napoleon, and the U.S. Founding Fathers. Times when a few brave men, moved by their conviction in a greater cause, changed the course of history.
In 2019, I have received 3 accreditations from Tourism Academy in partnership with Paris Airports: Excellency of Service; Welcoming European Travelers ; Welcoming Travelers from Asia.
In December 2020, Parisology received the Best Walking Tour Company in France Award from the CorporateLiveWire website.

What language are “Paris Walks” and “Online Journeys” conducted in?
All of them are delivered in English. French is available upon request.
Do you cancel “Paris Walks” because of the weather?
Never! All “Paris Walks” run rain or shine! Please dress accordingly and wear comfortable shoes.
Are “Paris Walks” and “Online Journeys” suitable for children?
Yes! All of them are suitable for children of all ages.
Are “Paris Walks” suitable for people with limited mobility?
Yes! All of them are. However, please let me know in advance so I can ensure other visitors will have time flexibility in case the duration is extended.
Is there a limit for the number of participants on both “Paris Walks” and “Online Journeys”?
Yes. In both cases, it is limited to groups up to twelve. Should you require my services for larger groups, please contact me.
What is your cancellation policy?
For participation in “Group Tours” (please refer to tours definitions on the Terms & Conditions page) booked through parisology.net, cancellations received up to 7 days prior to the tour date will receive a 50% refund of the deposit value.
There will be no refund for cancellations occurring less than 7 days prior to tour date.
Please note: for participation in “Group Tours” booked through external platforms such as AirBnb or TripAdvisor/Viator, please refer to the appropriate platform’ respective payment and cancellation policy.
