Art Deco Exhibition “France / North America” at Cité de l’Architecture

If you are currently visiting Paris or plan to do so before March 2023, I recommend the Art Deco expo at the Cité de l'Architecture. The exhibition shows the influence of the French Art Deco movement in North America.

Late 1800's, about a hundred architects from the United States and Canada studied at the Paris School of Fine Arts and later imported the style back home.

Art Deco also permeated the design of just about anything: from trains, to home appliances, furniture, fashion, etc... I particularly appreciated the microphone designs! The likes of Elvis Presley sung through these Art Deco mics! Highly recommended!
