Monet-Mitchell Exhibition at Louis-Vuiton Foundation

Now showing at the Louis-Vuitton Foundation is the "Monet-Mitchell" exhibition, displaying the "dialogues and bridges" between the two artists...

Of course, you are familiar with the famous impressionist painter. In all honesty, I was not so acquainted with Joan Mitchell before this exhibition. Probably because I do not visit modern art exhibitions very often.

Mitchell was born a year before Monnet died, she is an artist of the 20th century. I did see the influence of Impressionist Master in her paintings so the exhibition delivered what it promised, however, did I like her style is another question... To each his own! And to put it diplomatically, I would recommend this exhibition to see some of Monet's works gathered from different collections... Enjoy!
