Dépôt Légal - Restaurant with real terrasse
Not far the Palais-Royal, you will find "Dépôt Légal", a restaurant that was opened by a pastry chef. The cuisine is French but with many influences, so it is not traditional French.
For instance, I had a "Ceviche" which is a dish from Latin America: fish prepared with citrus fruits and served cold.
I had that last summer and it was perfect for the hot weather. I also appreciated the real terrasse! Too often in Paris, restaurants claim to have a terrasse when it is actually just the the sidewalk!
The terrasse might not be open in the winter, but when I was there, it was full of plants and flowers. The inside of the restaurant has a complete different vibe with an "industrial look".
Last but not least, the owner Christophe Adam is a pastry chef... So make sure to leave room for dessert, you will be glad you did! Enjoy!
Disclaimer: as always, I do not have any personal interest in mentioning these locations in my posts. These are really my go to places. Enjoy!
