The FRENCH REVOLUTION - PARIS walk

The King must die… So the Nation may live!
— Robespierre pleaded to the National Assembly…

In 1789, the French Revolution put an end to a Monarchy that had ruled the Kingdom for centuries… But the virtuous ideas of Liberty, Equality and Fraternity were easier said than done…

Travel back in time and walk in the footsteps of the key Revolutionaries: Voltaire, Lafayette, Robespierre and more. You will see exactly where King Louis XVI and Queen Marie-Antoinette were executed with the Guillotine…

We will go over the different stages of the Revolution, and you will understand how France was torn apart and went to war with the rest of Europe.

At each location stop, we will explore many of the decisive events: from the early signs to the final stage leading a young general to power: Napoleon!

I am looking forward to helping you understand the most complex time in French history!
