Adolf Hitler Appointed Chancelor of Germany

On 30 January 1933, President Hindeburg appointed Adolf Hitler as Chancelor of Germany... That night, the SA (Storm Abteilung - paramilitary wing of the Nazi party) paraded through the city of Berlin with torchlights.

From 7:00pm to midnight, they walked from the Hindenburg residence on Wilhelmstrasse to the Kaiserhof hotel where Hitler was residing. There, they pledged allegiance to their leader.

What an ominous warning... As we know, the worse was yet to come.
