Hitler & Stalin - Non Agression Pact

On 23 August 1939, Nazi Germany and the Soviet Union signed a non agression pact. The prenuptial agreement was negotiated by Joachim Von Ribbentrop and Viatcheslav Molotov. The marriage did not last very long.

In addition to not waging war on each other, Hitler and Stalin had a secret protocol defining two major spheres of influence.

In reality, Hitler had no intention of respecting his part of the deal from the beginning. It was just a way to gain time, allowing him to conquer western Europe until Nazi Germany would be ready to attack the USSR to spoil their resources... "Operation Barbarossa" will prove to be a serious strategic error...
