Michalak Pastry Shop
Michalak pastries, does that name ring a bell? If it doesn't yet, it will eventually! Christophe Michalak was the pastry chef for the Paris Plaza Athénée Hotel for 15 years and has honed his craft working for La Maison Fauchon, Pierre Hermé, La Durée, etc...
So far there are a few locations in Paris and even Japan! I recommend you try the "Fleur de café citron"... I had never experienced the mix of coffee and lemon flavours before. Interesting!
You will also find breads, sandwiches, and pastries of course. Price wise it is more than the basic bakery shop, but perfectly in line with Cedric Grolet. There's even a chocolate keyboard... It's not Bluetooth though, once you're finished eating it, it's Browntooth...
And remember, after indulging with all that sugar, you need to sign up for a walking tour!
Disclaimer: Please rest assured I have absolutely zero sponsor benefits in my food recommendations. They are genuinely places I have tried and tested and recommend. Thank you!
