From the outside, the church Notre-Dame des Blancs Manteaux does not rate among the most magnificent ones in Paris. It also has a second entrance on Rue des Blancs Manteaux that one might walk by without even noticing it.
Yet, this church located in the Marais hides a magnificent pulpit with beautiful marquetry in the Baroque-Rococo style. The pulpit was bought from a church in the Flamish part of Belgium and has since been classified as National Heritage.
Never judge a church by its façade! Another hidden treasure in Paris!
