Pont Louis-Philippe Bridge

Palm trees in Paris? How long will they survive? They will probably get stored away in the winter, so if you want to catch them, head towards the "Pont Louis-Philippe".

The original "Louis-Philippe" bridge that had been commissioned by the King of tha same name in 1833 burned down fifteen years later durint France's third Revolution, forcing that King into exile.

The remnants of that bridge were then destroyed in 1860 to make way for the current one built within two years.

Aside from the south of France feel you will get with the palm trees, you will also get good views of the Panthéon and Notre-Dame Cathedral.
