Sadaharu Aoki - Japanese Pastries
My Japanese friends paid me a visit and they brought macarons from Sadaharu Aoki, a Japanese pastry chef in Paris.
The French pastry makers should worry about it as Aoki Sensei knows what he's doing! These are the best macarons I had in years!
I was impressed with the wasabi flavored one! Wasabi is that green paste you can have with sushi or rolls, it is often described as the Japanese mustard as it has a real kick to it.
That macaron had the taste of wasabi without the spicyness, delicious! The "Caramel beurre salé" and Yuzu macarons were also killers!
