I am hopeful as Joaquin Phoenix will portray the Emperor and is there a better actor who can tackle complexity?

This has been my personal challenge in my Rise of Napoleon tour. My hope is the movie is made in such a way that people will be curious enough to learn more and figure out for themselves who Napoleon really was in the light of the times he lived in: a newborn Republic threatened by European Monarchs.

I have been reading about both the French Revolution and Napoleon for decades, yet, that time period never ceased to fascinate me.
